- How do I import recipes?
- Open New Recipe > Import to paste a URL or recipe text. Pro also includes AI extraction from pasted text and screenshots. Choose Write a Recipe to enter one manually. Restore a Quartermaster JSON export from Settings > Data.
- How does Quartermaster calculate what a Recipe needs?
- It builds the same deterministic ingredient demand used by Shopping, omits normal household Staples, and counts non-Staples plus required Staples marked Out. Partial or unresolved ingredients stay in the count instead of being guessed away.
- Can I share with my partner or household?
- Yes. Go to Settings > Household to invite members via a link. Everyone in the household shares the same recipe library, Staples, meal plans, and shopping lists, with real-time sync.
- Can I export my data?
- Yes. Go to Settings > Data to export your profile and household Recipes, classifications, Staples, archived Pantry recovery data, Menus, Plans, and Shopping as JSON. Recipe images are referenced rather than embedded. You can import the export back in.
- How does meal planning work?
- The Planner shows an ordered week of Meals made from Recipes, Menu snapshots, or simple notes. When you’re ready, generate Shopping explicitly; normal Staples are omitted and required Out Staples are included.
- Which features use AI?
- AI Recipe import and Recipe enhancement send the content you choose to Anthropic. Voice input sends audio to Groq for transcription, then may send the transcript to Anthropic to parse Shopping items. These tools are optional; the manual Recipe, Plan, and Shopping paths still work without them.
- How do I delete my account?
- Go to Settings > Profile where you can manage your account. You can download a JSON export first from Settings > Data; Recipe images are not included in the file.
